SPRINTS announce 2026 North American tour with Toronto stop

Irish garage-punk band SPRINTS will bring their sharp and gritty sound across North America early next year. The run is timed to support their upcoming album All That Is Over, arriving September 26 through Sub Pop in the U.S. and City Slang overseas. Known for their mix of urgency, melody, and pointed lyrics, the Dublin-based four-piece is ready to give North American audiences a close look at their next chapter.

In 2019, a garage punk band called SPRINTS was established in Dublin, Ireland. The group, consisting of Karla Chubb on vocals and guitar, Sam McCann on bass and vocals, Jack Callan on drums, and Zac Stephenson on guitar, has been active in recording and releasing various singles and EPs for the Nice Swan label since then. They recently signed with City Slang and their highly acclaimed debut album, Letter to Self, was released in January 2024.

Starting in Minneapolis, ending in Seattle
The tour launches on January 28, 2026, at the 7th Street Entry in Minneapolis. Over the following two weeks, SPRINTS will weave through a number of major American cities, including Detroit, Boston, New York, and Los Angeles.

The final show takes place on February 14 at The Crocodile in Seattle, closing the run on the West Coast. With fewer than twenty shows announced, each stop feels like a deliberate choice to connect with fans in smaller rooms that keep the intensity close and direct.
Toronto gets the only Canadian show
For Canadian listeners, the spotlight shines on Toronto’s Longboat Hall on February 1. This performance stands out as the group’s sole Canadian stop, making it a rare opportunity for fans north of the border. After the Toronto date, the band continues immediately back into U.S. territory, heading toward East Coast and Midwest shows before finishing out west.

Bringing their live energy across the continent
SPRINTS have earned attention in Europe for their uncompromising live shows, where the band’s restless spirit and pounding rhythm section create a sound both raw and electrifying. The 2026 tour aims to carry that same presence into American and Canadian venues, many of which are known for hosting punk and indie acts in intimate settings. For long-time fans and new listeners alike, it’s a chance to feel the direct, unpolished power that has become the band’s trademark.
New album and latest single
The tour is anchored by All That Is Over, the group’s second full-length release. Due in late September, the record follows their 2022 debut, A Modern Job and signals a step forward in songwriting and sound. Its lead single, "Better," has already been released with a video, setting the tone for what fans can expect.

Live performances are expected to showcase fresh material while keeping space for earlier tracks that helped establish SPRINTS’ reputation as one of Ireland’s most exciting punk outfits.
