Inspiration behind the album
Mia Berrin, the driving force behind Pom Pom Squad, found inspiration for the album in her own childhood memories and artistic beginnings. Berrin explained that the album title was inspired by a horror movie concept, referring to the unsettling sensation of seeing oneself reflected, both physically and metaphorically. This intimate and contemplative topic permeates the album, adding depth and honesty to their work.

The album's debut single, "Spinning," is now available with a music video co-directed by Benjamin Lieber and Berrin, featuring a surveillance room to reflect the album's themes of self-reflection.
