Oasis reunion tour kicks off with chaos, cash grabs, and a whole lot of Gallagher
Oasis finally reunited on July 4, 2025, kicking off their Live ’25 tour in Cardiff with a loud, packed show at Principality Stadium. Yes, Liam and Noel Gallagher shared the same stage without a fight, or at least none visible to the public. Fans sang, cried, and probably tweeted too much. The last time these two agreed on anything was before smartphones even had filters.

Tickets gone faster than a Liam tantrum
The moment tickets went on sale last year, they vanished. Ticketmaster sold out UK dates in under ten hours and North American stops in less than one. By the time you blinked, someone else was holding your dream ticket and reselling it for the cost of a used car.
Perhaps the biggest sign that fans aren’t deterred by the possible voiding of resale tickets: ticketing site Viagogo reported more than 35,000 people searching for Oasis tickets online in the hours following the band’s first show. Viagogo has Oasis tour tickets starting in the $300 range and it appears likely that they’ll sell quickly, despite the band’s pleas to avoid these sites.
Welcome back to the show fellas!
Resale sites are throwing a party
StubHub, Vivid Seats, and Viagogo are now enjoying the kind of payday Oasis sang about back in the '90s. A single ticket? Around $500 if you're lucky, more if you're not. Viagogo said over 35,000 people searched for Cardiff tickets after the first show. That’s not demand, it’s madness dressed as nostalgia.
A lot of stars from Mick Jagger to Harry Styles are supporting Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher's Oasis comeback.

Regulators, rage, and rock n’ roll
The UK’s Competition stepped in this July, saying Ticketmaster’s sales tactics smelled fishier than a backstage rider in 1995. Liam joked on stage that tickets should’ve been £40,000, then corrected himself to the "real" price of around £350. Either way, fans shelled out like it was a once-in-a-lifetime event, which, given the brothers’ track record, it might be.
So if you're hoping to catch Oasis in the U.S. this August, bring your wallet, some luck, and maybe a therapist. It’s not just a concert, it’s a full-blown scavenger hunt with guitars.
