My Chemical Romance announces 2026 world tour for The Black Parade anniversary
Two decades after The Black Parade turned eyeliner into a lifestyle choice, My Chemical Romance is dusting off the uniforms and hitting the road. The tour starts June 30, 2026, in Liverpool, then storms through Glasgow before landing for three nights at Wembley. By mid-July, Florence and Madrid will have their turn at shouting along to songs that made teenage angst feel like an art form. Europe may call it a concert, but it’s basically free group therapy with guitars.

South America and Asia line up next
Before New York gets a note, the band will head south with shows in Bogotá, Lima, Santiago, Buenos Aires, and São Paulo. Mexico City gets two nights of catharsis, proving once again that Mexico knows how to throw a proper rock show. Then it’s off to Southeast Asia, with stops in Bangkok, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta. If you thought karaoke nights were loud, wait until an arena full of fans belts "I’m not okay."
Trivia
The band's fourth album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys, is a concept album set in a post-apocalyptic California. What are the names of the four main characters, who are also alter egos of the band members?

The U.S. run goes big
North America’s leg begins August 9 at Citi Field in New York. From there, it’s a whistle-stop tour of stadiums in Nashville, Washington D.C., Detroit, Minneapolis, Denver, San Diego, Phoenix, and San Antonio. The finale is three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles this October. Traffic will be unbearable, but at least you can roll down the window and scream along with the crowd.
The supporting cast
This tour isn’t just MCR, it’s practically a festival. Expect Franz Ferdinand, Pierce the Veil, Modest Mouse, Iggy Pop, Sleater-Kinney, The Breeders, Babymetal, Jimmy Eat World, and The Mars Volta to join the bill. It’s the kind of lineup that makes you want to dig out your old MP3 player, cargo shorts, and whatever dignity you left behind at Warped Tour.
Jimmy Eat World is an American rock band formed in 1993 in Mesa, Arizona. The band is composed of lead vocalist and lead guitarist Jim Adkins, rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist Tom Linton,
What fans can expect
Every stop on the 2026 run promises the full Black Parade album, performed front to back with the kind of theatrical flair My Chemical Romance has always thrived on.
For longtime fans, it’s a reminder of why the album still holds its grip twenty years later. For newcomers, it’s a chance to see a band that turned teenage angst into a stadium-sized spectacle. Either way, the message is clear: the parade never really ended, it just took a long intermission.
