Music, passion, and family: Gina Marie Osmond’s path to success with GMOB
Gina Marie Osmond is making waves in Park City’s music scene with her band, GMOB. A member of the legendary Osmond family, she has built a strong following with performances at The Spur Bar & Grill, The Cabin, Deer Valley, and Brewski’s in Ogden. Despite her family’s deep roots in the music industry, Osmond has carved her own path, blending classic rock with modern influences. Her journey back to music has been one of passion, perseverance, and rediscovery.
I've always wanted to be that alternative, hard-rock gal like DOROTHY or Lzzy Hale in Halestorm, but I know since I'm an Osmond, some people don't really take to that
Finding her sound and building GMOB
After spending two decades in California raising a family and working in software and cybersecurity, Osmond returned to Utah and reignited her passion for music. She got back on stage with Preston Koefed’s BoneBand, which helped her refine her vocals. Soon after, she formed GMOB with drummer Chris Bonaduce, guitarist Ben Wells, and bassist Dan Beaudoin. While the band is thriving, she continues searching for a talented keyboardist to round out their sound.
GMOB’s setlist covers everything from country to classic rock, with influences from artists like Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, DOROTHY, and Shinedown’s Brent Smith. Osmond has also ventured into songwriting, releasing the original track "Lovers".

Collaborations and expanding opportunities
Osmond’s collaborations continue to grow. She recently joined Rachel Moss’s band, No Limits, as a lead singer, calling their vocal chemistry an exciting new chapter in her career. Their powerful vocal blend has already captivated audiences, and Osmond looks forward to exploring new musical arrangements with the group.
Additionally, she performs as a duo with guitarist Dan Fox of the Fox Brothers, delivering intimate acoustic performances that highlight her vocal range. This partnership allows her to experiment with different musical styles beyond GMOB’s hard-rock sound. She has also secured a residency at Pendry, where she will perform regularly from May through September, further cementing her presence in Utah’s live music scene.
Beyond her current projects, Osmond is expanding her reach through collaborations, private events, and festivals while exploring original music.

The road ahead
With support from family, local promoters, and venues, Osmond aims to make a living through music full-time. She remains determined to build her career, attract more fans, and keep pushing forward in the ever-evolving music scene. As she continues to refine her sound and explore new opportunities, her presence in the local music world only grows stronger.
Right now we're looking for a really good keyboard player
