Karol G announces new album ‘Tropicoqueta,’ out June 20
Karol G is back, and no, she didn’t return quietly. She announced Tropicoqueta, her fifth studio album, with a full-blown Instagram art show. The cover screams "soul, nostalgia, and joy," or maybe just "I had time today."

A concept or a fever dream
The title Tropicoqueta sounds like a fruit punch mixed with heartbreak and a side of plantains. Karol calls it a new era. We call it a tropical mood board with feelings. It’s all about dancing, memory, and good old-fashioned passion, so if you’re not at least swaying by the second verse, you’re listening wrong.
