Jason Isbell set to release a solo acoustic album, "Foxes in the Snow"
Isbell previewed the collection with a lead single, "Bury Me," which showcases his skill as a songwriter and vocalist.
In October 2024, music production for the album took place at Electric Lady Studios located in New York City. Over the course of intense five-day recording sessions, Isbell recorded each track to tape while playing his vintage all-mahogany 1940 Martin 0-17 acoustic guitar.
Jason Isbell will embark on a solo leg beginning in February, offering fans an intimate experience with his music. This will be followed by dates in April when he will be joined by his band, The 400 Unit, delivering a full-band performance. Tickets for all of Isbell's upcoming shows are currently on sale.

Isbell was born in Green Hill, Alabama, two miles (3 km) from the Alabama-Tennessee state line. His grandfather and uncle taught him to play various instruments, including the mandolin when he was six years old, as it was easier for him to grip as a small child. They enjoyed gospel music, bluegrass music, and the Grand Ole Opry. In high school, he played the trumpet and French horn. Isbell's family would get together and play music every week, sometimes twice a week.
