How Crosby, Stills & Nash's harmonies sparked a creative boom in music

One of the most famous examples is the group Crosby, Stills & Nash, made up of Graham Nash, David Crosby, and Stephen Stills. Their special harmonies were key to their sound and encouraged their songwriting and creative growth.<br><br>A big turning point happened when Nash left The Hollies and sang with Crosby and Stills for the first time. They were amazed by how well their voices worked together, calling it eye-opening. This connection laid the groundwork for their first album. Songs like Suite: Judy Blue Eyes showed off their complex vocal arrangements, mixing innovation with deep emotions. The song featured four different parts and used a unique EEEEBE tuning.
