Highly Irresponsible: Better Lovers unleash fury with debut album
A collaborative effort between former musicians of The Dillinger Escape Plan and Every Time I Die has led to the creation of this new act, which has only just begun to make a name for itself in the metal world.
With notable success in the music scene, including successful tours and chart-topping songs, Better Lovers is now preparing for the release of their album, Highly Irresponsible.
The album will feature a mix of thrash metal and hardcore, with lead vocalist Greg Puciato bringing his signature spitfire vocals to the table.
The latter part of the song is marked by an intense collapse, punctuated by a drawn-out silence that gives Puciato ample time to dramatically shatter a microphone stand against a wall.
According to guitarist Jordan Buckley, "Playing and hearing our own music makes us want to run through walls...so we made a video where, while playing and hearing our own music, we run through walls."
Writing and recording our first full length was slightly more surgical than the EP, but had a similar lack of restraint...the voice in my head warning me how Highly Irresponsible it was to hop on this bull again was gone...we love what we’ve created. We know you will too
In preparation for the holiday season, Better Lovers has announced a busy schedule of shows including two prominent music festivals - Louder than Life and Aftershock - and their very own holiday festival in New York come December.
