GMA moves summer concert series to new studio with expanded lineup

Summer mornings are about to get a little more lively. Good Morning America is rolling out its 2025 Summer Concert Series, featuring a lineup that mixes pop nostalgia, rising stars, and everything in between. From Times Square to a brand-new downtown studio, the series promises a little something for everyone—whether you're into throwback boy bands or laid-back indie vibes.

It’s the kind of programming that turns your morning coffee into a front-row seat.
A season of music, from throwbacks to new sounds
The series kicks off June 12 with New Kids on the Block performing their classic hits in what will be the final concert held in GMA’s Times Square studio. Then, things head outdoors—on July 18, BIA and G-Eazy will take the stage in Indianapolis as part of the WNBA All-Star Game festivities.

Starting in August, performances shift to GMA’s new downtown Manhattan studio. Manuel Turizo opens the new venue on August 1, followed by Good Charlotte (August 8) and Laufey (August 15). Whether you’re into punk rock or soothing ballads, there’s a bit of both on the schedule.

The series wraps up with a strong closing week. Gloria Estefan performs on August 22, followed by Dierks Bentley (August 27) and Teyana Taylor (August 29). Each performance will air live during GMA, which runs from 7 to 9 a.m. ET on ABC.

"We’re thrilled to host this year’s Summer Concert Series in our brand-new, state-of-the-art studio," said Simone Swink, GMA’s senior executive producer.
