Doja Cat serves up new album 'Vie' this fall with a side of disco nostalgia
Doja Cat has announced her next album, Vie, landing on September 26. According to her, it’s about love, romance, and, you guessed it, relationships. Translation: the soundtrack to your next breakup, makeup, or 2 a.m. text you’ll regret by sunrise. Think of it as a self-help book, except with beats you can actually dance to.
Jealous type sets the tone
The first single, Jealous Type, dropped August 21 and immediately pulled listeners back into the ‘80s. Produced by Jack Antonoff (because apparently he’s legally required to be involved in every pop release), the track drips with nu-disco polish. The video, directed by Boni Mata, looks like what happens when a VHS tape decides to go haute couture.
The Vie hotline stunt
Before unleashing the single, Doja invited fans to dial into her "_Vie Hotline_" for relationship advice. Because who better to guide your romantic disasters than someone who rhymes over bass-heavy beats for a living? Still, it worked, fans loved it, and it gave them the illusion that Doja Cat is just one text away from fixing their situationship.

My Vie world tour announced
Doja’s keeping the promo machine rolling with the Ma Vie World Tour, her first arena run in Australia and New Zealand. It kicks off November 18 in Auckland before jetting through more cities and then Asia. For fans, this means stadium-sized sing-alongs.
