BTS to release new album in spring 2026, followed by world tour
After months of radio silence, the seven global pop machines known as BTS have finally confirmed what fans have been manifesting with candlelit shrines and streaming parties since 2022, a brand-new album and a world tour, both arriving in 2026. And yes, this is not a drill. BTS went live and nearly broke the internet (again), proving that military service may pause the music, but it can't dim the spotlight.

BigHit Music, never ones to drop news gently, casually announced the group’s return with a spring 2026 album. That gives fans just enough time to emotionally prepare, save money, and possibly learn a new language for the lyric breakdowns. The boys will start recording in the U.S. this July, which makes sense, if you're planning a global takeover, you start with Hollywood.

Naturally, there’s a tour. A world tour. While we don't have the dates yet, it's safe to assume tickets will disappear faster than concert lightsticks at a sold-out arena. If you thought getting Taylor Swift tickets was tough, just wait until BTS drops theirs. May the internet speed and bank balances be ever in your favour.

During the livestream, the members took turns expressing how much they missed each other, the stage, and, of course, the ARMY.
