Stella Lefty is turning a breakout year into something much bigger. Fresh music, a rapidly climbing hit and growing crowds have pushed the young singer-songwriter into a new stage of her career. Fans will soon get the chance to hear that momentum play out live as she prepares for her biggest headline run yet. Her new tour also arrives just days after another major career milestone.

The Long Way Home: Returning to Roots

The 24-year-old singer has announced the Long Way Home Tour, an 18-date North American run supporting her debut album of the same name. Promoted by Live Nation, the tour begins January 9, 2027, at The Fillmore in Detroit before wrapping up February 20 at Chicago's Aragon Ballroom.

Along the way, Lefty will visit Columbus, Toronto, Montreal, Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Francisco, Denver and Nashville, among other cities. Chicago provides a fitting finale for the Illinois native, turning the final night into a hometown show.

One stop carries an especially obvious connection to her recent success. On January 17, Lefty will play MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston, the city sharing its name with the song that transformed her career.

From Childhood Clips to Debut Album Drop

Tour news came only three days after Long Way Home arrived on August 21. Lefty's debut album features 14 tracks, combining seven new songs with seven previously released recordings, including "Boston" and "Thinking bout You".

Rather than announcing the shows with a simple list of dates, she shared a personal video featuring childhood footage of herself singing and playing guitar. Clips from more recent performances then bring the story into the present, reflecting just how far her career has travelled.

Her message accompanying the announcement focused on getting those new songs in front of fans. Lefty also thanked listeners for supporting her first album and said she could not wait to sing and dance with them on tour.

The Unstoppable Surge of "Boston"

Released in March, "Boston" did not begin its Billboard journey anywhere near the top. The track entered the Hot 100 at No. 95 in April before steadily gaining ground and eventually reaching a new peak of No. 2 on the August 29-dated chart. Its popularity stretches well beyond Billboard.

More than 400 million streams and over 1 billion video views have been attributed to the song, while it has also gained traction at both Country and Pop radio. Lefty's breakthrough has opened doors elsewhere, too.

She made her late-night debut with a performance of "Boston" on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and recently performed the track alongside Marcus Mumford at Madison Square Garden. Recognition has followed those appearances. "Boston" earned an MTV Video Music Awards nomination for Best Country, while Lefty herself received a Best New Artist nomination.

Presales, VIP Packages, and On-Sale Details

Fans registered for the artist presale can begin buying tickets on August 27 at 10 a.m. local time. Remaining tickets are scheduled to go on general sale the following morning at the same local time.

VIP options will also be available for people wanting more than the standard concert experience. Packages include a general admission ticket, access to Lefty's pre-show soundcheck party, early venue entry and an autographed exclusive poster.
