Bonnaroo 2025 introduces revolutionary 360-degree audio experience for festival-goers
Bonnaroo 2025 is ready to transform your festival experience with the new Infinity Stage, an outdoor platform featuring groundbreaking 360-degree sound. Made by UK-based Polygon Productions, this stage promises a sound experience like no other, making its first appearance in North America. Festival director Brad Parker calls it "surround sound on steroids," moving how you enjoy music to a whole new level.
Unlike regular sound systems, where the music mostly comes from the stage, the Infinity Stage uses 3D sound technology to fully immerse you. This means sound elements like vocals, instruments, and effects can move all around you, creating a rich and multi-dimensional listening experience.

Global technology with limited precedent
The Infinity Stage will make its first appearance at Bonnaroo after being showcased twice before—in Thailand and Saudi Arabia. Parker, who attended the Thailand show, said the sound was amazing. He described it as a life-changing experience because it let him hear music in a whole new way, welcoming all kinds of performances from electronic DJs to throat singers.
At Bonnaroo, the Infinity Stage will be right in Centeroo, which is the main area of the festival. This means it will add to the excitement of the existing stages without taking anything away, keeping the rich variety of music Bonnaroo is famous for intact.

Pioneering challenges for artists
Programming for the Infinity Stage is in progress. Organizers are working with artists to change their performances for the new stage. This sound experience requires artists to rethink how their music works in a 3D audio space. This extra effort, Parker says, makes the Infinity Stage a special place for creativity and new ideas.
Though the official artist list for the Infinity Stage is still a secret, Bonnaroo plans to share this news in early 2025. The festival lineup already includes stars like Luke Combs, Tyler, the Creator, and Olivia Rodrigo. This hints at the level of talent we can expect on this exciting stage.

It takes a lot more explaining and a little bit more of a pitch to say, "Hey, you get the chance to be doing something that no other artist in the world's really doing.
