Alice Cooper and his classic lineup release long-awaited comeback album
For the first time in more than five decades, Alice Cooper has reunited with his original bandmates—Michael Bruce, Dennis Dunaway, and Neal Smith—for a new studio album called The Revenge of Alice Cooper.
This marks their first full record together since 1973’s Muscle of Love. Longtime producer Bob Ezrin returned to work with the group and helped capture the same energy and sound they were known for in their early years. The album will be released on July 25 through earMUSIC.

First single features Robby Krieger
The first track off the album, "Black Mamba," came out on April 22. The song features a special guest appearance by Robby Krieger, guitarist for The Doors. It brings back the band’s signature dark edge with a modern punch. The single was released along with a lyric video, giving fans a first look at what to expect from the rest of the album.

Touring plans are underway
Although the original band hasn’t confirmed a full tour together, Alice Cooper will continue performing with his current band this year. He’s also set to join Judas Priest for a co-headlining tour in the fall. There may be special reunion shows featuring the original lineup, but no official dates have been announced yet.

Mixing the old and the new
The new album features 16 tracks, some of which include unfinished ideas and riffs from decades ago. One of the standout songs, "What Happened to You," is based on a riff that guitarist Glen Buxton recorded before his death in 1997. There’s also a track titled "Return of the Spiders 2025," a fresh take on a classic song from the band’s 1970 album Easy Action.
