Dnyc3 is a multi-platinum music producer, recording artist, songwriter, and engineer from Compton, California. Known for creating hard-hitting West Coast production with smooth melodies and undeniable bounce, Dnyc3 has developed a sound he calls “Function Music,” a modern blend of G-funk, hyphy, jerk, and the classic Los Angeles ratchet era.
Beginning his production career in 2003, Dnyc3 went on to become a member of the acclaimed production collective League of Starz. His production credits include Tyga’s platinum-certified single “Faded,” along with collaborations featuring Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, The Game, E-40, Too $hort, Wale, Meek Mill, Blueface, G Perico, and other influential artists.
As the founder of Bag Dat Money Records, Dnyc3 has expanded beyond producing for others to build his own catalog as a recording artist and executive producer. Through projects such as “Signed On, Vol. 1” and “Signed On, Vol. 2,” he showcases his ability to develop artists, bring collaborations together, and create complete bodies of work that represent the sound and lifestyle of Southern California.
Dnyc3 produces, records, mixes, and masters his own music, giving him complete creative control from the first beat to the final release. His mission is to preserve the energy of authentic West Coast music while pushing it forward for a new generation.
